# Eventscribe vs Techno Security

Eventscribe and Techno Security both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of Techno Security's written reviews are positive against 27% of Eventscribe's. Eventscribe's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (8.2K vs 83). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Eventscribe against 4.7 for Techno Security. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eventscribe has 8.2K ratings behind it against 83, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 27% of Eventscribe's written reviews are positive against 75% of Techno Security's.

Eventscribe ships an update fortnightly, Techno Security every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
