# Eventscribe vs Audiojack

The clearest difference is rating: Eventscribe at 4.6 against Audiojack's 4.0. Eventscribe also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (8.2K vs 33). Audiojack's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 27%) and iOS requirement (11.4 vs 15.5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Audiojack sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Eventscribe asks for nothing beyond the download.

Eventscribe holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eventscribe has 8.2K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Eventscribe's written reviews are positive against 64% of Audiojack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Eventscribe ships an update fortnightly, Audiojack every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
