# Sizzit vs Protein hunter

The clearest difference is ads: Sizzit at none against Protein hunter's shown. Sizzit also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Protein hunter's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 24 months). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sizzit sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $23.49 per year and Protein hunter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sizzit ships an update every 24 months, Protein hunter every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 2, 2026.
