# Smartsheet vs ProofHub

The clearest difference is rating: Smartsheet at 4.8 against ProofHub's 3.4. Smartsheet also leads on review sentiment (63% vs 23%) and ratings volume (120K vs 72). ProofHub's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smartsheet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. ProofHub asks for nothing beyond the download.

Smartsheet holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smartsheet has 120K ratings behind it against 72, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 63% of Smartsheet's written reviews are positive against 23% of ProofHub's.

Smartsheet ships an update weekly, ProofHub fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
