# Smartsheet vs EPS EMS

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EPS EMS at none against Smartsheet's 1. Smartsheet's advantage is ratings volume (120K vs 3) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smartsheet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. EPS EMS asks for nothing beyond the download.

EPS EMS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smartsheet has 120K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Smartsheet ships an update weekly, EPS EMS every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
