# Super Ghost vs Beamafilm

The clearest difference is monetization model: Super Ghost at free against Beamafilm's free with in-app purchases. Beamafilm's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 2) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Super Ghost sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Beamafilm sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Super Ghost against 5.0 for Beamafilm. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Beamafilm has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Super Ghost's written reviews are positive against 80% of Beamafilm's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
