# WiCall vs BuzzNow

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BuzzNow at 71% against WiCall's 0%. BuzzNow also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 27 months) and ratings volume (598 vs 1). WiCall's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (10.2 vs 15). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WiCall sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and BuzzNow sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WiCall holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BuzzNow has 598 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of WiCall's written reviews are positive against 71% of BuzzNow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WiCall ships an update every 27 months, BuzzNow every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
