# EWTN vs STJMOD

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: STJMOD at none against EWTN's 31. STJMOD also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 91%). EWTN's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (41K vs 20). On price and rating there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EWTN sells 31 one-off in-app purchases. STJMOD asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for EWTN against 4.8 for STJMOD. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EWTN has 41K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 91% of EWTN's written reviews are positive against 100% of STJMOD's.

EWTN ships an update every 4 weeks, STJMOD every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
