# EWTN vs Prayfy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Prayfy at none against EWTN's 31. Prayfy also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 weeks). EWTN's advantage is ratings volume (41K vs 4) and device support (5 vs 2). On price, rating and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EWTN sells 31 one-off in-app purchases. Prayfy asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for EWTN against 5.0 for Prayfy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EWTN has 41K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 91% of EWTN's written reviews are positive against 100% of Prayfy's.

EWTN ships an update every 4 weeks, Prayfy every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
