# 每日英语听力 vs Chimp Test

每日英语听力 and Chimp Test both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 97% of 每日英语听力's written reviews are positive against 71% of Chimp Test's. 每日英语听力 also leads on ratings volume (4.8K vs 2) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 每日英语听力 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Chimp Test sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chimp Test holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 每日英语听力 has 4.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of 每日英语听力's written reviews are positive against 71% of Chimp Test's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

每日英语听力 ships an update every 3 weeks, Chimp Test every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
