# Scrawler I vs Color Notepad

The clearest difference is rating: Color Notepad at 4.5 against Scrawler I's 3.9. Color Notepad also leads on ratings volume (606 vs 10). Scrawler I's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (74% vs 47%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Color Notepad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Scrawler I asks for nothing beyond the download.

Color Notepad holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Color Notepad has 606 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Scrawler I's written reviews are positive against 47% of Color Notepad's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
