# NepCal vs Ncell

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NepCal at 94% against Ncell's 29%. NepCal also leads on rating (4.5 vs 3.4) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 189). Ncell's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 10 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NepCal holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NepCal has 1.3K ratings behind it against 189, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 94% of NepCal's written reviews are positive against 29% of Ncell's.

NepCal ships an update every 10 months, Ncell every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
