# Palm Reader vs Astro Sense Guide

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Palm Reader at 43% against Astro Sense Guide's 0%. Palm Reader also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3). Astro Sense Guide's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 2.2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 16 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Astro Sense Guide sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Palm Reader asks for nothing beyond the download.

Astro Sense Guide holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Astro Sense Guide has 62 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Palm Reader's written reviews are positive against 0% of Astro Sense Guide's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Palm Reader ships an update every 16 months, Astro Sense Guide weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
