# iTacTic vs Pathfinder Sailing

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pathfinder Sailing at every 3 weeks against iTacTic's every 2 months. iTacTic's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iTacTic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pathfinder Sailing sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
