# Arpie vs Cube Synth

The clearest difference is price: Arpie at Free against Cube Synth's $1.99. Arpie also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Cube Synth's advantage is update cadence (every 4 months vs every 97 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On review sentiment, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Arpie is free to download; Cube Synth costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cube Synth holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 16 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Arpie's written reviews are positive against 89% of Cube Synth's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Arpie ships an update every 97 months, Cube Synth every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
