# Family Scribble vs Televista

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Family Scribble at 100% against Televista's 20%. Family Scribble also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.2) and ads (none vs shown). Televista's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (31 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Family Scribble sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Televista sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Family Scribble holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Televista has 31 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Family Scribble's written reviews are positive against 20% of Televista's.

Family Scribble ships an update every 8 months, Televista every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
