# My Digital Clock vs Big Digital Clock Widget

The clearest difference is ads: Big Digital Clock Widget at none against My Digital Clock's shown. Big Digital Clock Widget also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months). My Digital Clock's advantage is ratings volume (7.5K vs 245) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Digital Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Big Digital Clock Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Digital Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Digital Clock has 7.5K ratings behind it against 245, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of My Digital Clock's written reviews are positive against 89% of Big Digital Clock Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Digital Clock ships an update every 5 months, Big Digital Clock Widget every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
