# Kicktipp vs Penal App

The clearest difference is rating: Kicktipp at 4.8 against Penal App's 4.4. Kicktipp also leads on ratings volume (131 vs 14). Penal App's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kicktipp sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Penal App sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kicktipp holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kicktipp has 131 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Kicktipp ships an update fortnightly, Penal App every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
