# BARK vs MorphMarket

BARK and MorphMarket both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of MorphMarket's written reviews are positive against 69% of BARK's. BARK's advantage is ratings volume (30K vs 1.5K) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for BARK against 4.9 for MorphMarket. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BARK has 30K ratings behind it against 1.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 69% of BARK's written reviews are positive against 93% of MorphMarket's.

BARK ships an update every 2 weeks, MorphMarket every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
