# OCEARCH Shark Tracker™ vs Charrioteer

The clearest difference is update cadence: OCEARCH Shark Tracker™ at every 4 weeks against Charrioteer's every 6 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OCEARCH Shark Tracker™ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Charrioteer sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
