# Planner Pro vs Weekly Planner

The clearest difference is ads: Weekly Planner at none against Planner Pro's shown. Weekly Planner also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Planner Pro's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Planner Pro sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Weekly Planner sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Weekly Planner holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13K and 15K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Planner Pro's written reviews are positive against 70% of Weekly Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
