# Planner Pro vs Prosody Dance Notebook

The clearest difference is rating: Prosody Dance Notebook at 5.0 against Planner Pro's 4.5. Planner Pro's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Planner Pro sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Prosody Dance Notebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prosody Dance Notebook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Planner Pro has 13K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Planner Pro ships an update every 3 weeks, Prosody Dance Notebook every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
