# Planner Pro vs Daily Notes Planner

The clearest difference is rating: Planner Pro at 4.5 against Daily Notes Planner's 3.0. Planner Pro also leads on review sentiment (76% vs 50%) and ratings volume (13K vs 9). Daily Notes Planner's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Planner Pro sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Daily Notes Planner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Planner Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Planner Pro has 13K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 76% of Planner Pro's written reviews are positive against 50% of Daily Notes Planner's.

Planner Pro ships an update every 3 weeks, Daily Notes Planner weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
