# Bridge Doddle vs Shark Bridge

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shark Bridge at every 2 weeks against Bridge Doddle's every 4 months. Shark Bridge also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 59). Bridge Doddle's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bridge Doddle sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $26.99 per month and Shark Bridge sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shark Bridge holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shark Bridge has 1.2K ratings behind it against 59, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Bridge Doddle's written reviews are positive against 73% of Shark Bridge's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bridge Doddle ships an update every 4 months, Shark Bridge every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
