# NCATConnect vs Text Pledge

The clearest difference is update cadence: Text Pledge at every 5 days against NCATConnect's every 6 months. Text Pledge also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NCATConnect ships an update every 6 months, Text Pledge every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 6, 2026.
