# MPDX vs TimeBlocks

The clearest difference is rating: TimeBlocks at 5.0 against MPDX's 2.9. TimeBlocks also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). MPDX's advantage is ratings volume (41 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TimeBlocks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MPDX has 41 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MPDX ships an update fortnightly, TimeBlocks weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
