# 1 Second Daily Cam vs Snap Second

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Snap Second at 86% against 1 Second Daily Cam's 14%. Snap Second also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 1). 1 Second Daily Cam's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 1 Second Daily Cam sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Snap Second sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

1 Second Daily Cam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snap Second has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of 1 Second Daily Cam's written reviews are positive against 86% of Snap Second's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

1 Second Daily Cam ships an update fortnightly, Snap Second every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
