# Telepromptr vs Optika

The clearest difference is rating: Telepromptr at 4.6 against Optika's 4.3. Telepromptr also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 23). Optika's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly) and review sentiment (73% vs 54%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Telepromptr sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year and Optika sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Telepromptr holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Telepromptr has 1.3K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Telepromptr's written reviews are positive against 73% of Optika's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Telepromptr ships an update monthly, Optika every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
