# Telepromptr vs ProCam

The clearest difference is price: Telepromptr at Free against ProCam's $9.99. ProCam's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (35K vs 1.3K). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Telepromptr is free to download; ProCam costs $9.99 up front. Telepromptr sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year and ProCam sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Telepromptr against 4.6 for ProCam. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProCam has 35K ratings behind it against 1.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 54% of Telepromptr's written reviews are positive against 64% of ProCam's.

Telepromptr ships an update monthly, ProCam every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
