# Nitrox Buddy vs VizReport

The clearest difference is rating: Nitrox Buddy at 4.9 against VizReport's 3.0. Nitrox Buddy also leads on ratings volume (489 vs 2). VizReport's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nitrox Buddy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and VizReport sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nitrox Buddy holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nitrox Buddy has 489 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Nitrox Buddy ships an update every 7 months, VizReport every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
