# Alsumaria السومرية vs Simple Backup Contacts

The clearest difference is update cadence: Alsumaria السومرية at every 8 days against Simple Backup Contacts's every 11 months. Alsumaria السومرية also leads on ratings volume (7.7K vs 39) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Simple Backup Contacts's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 50%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Alsumaria السومرية holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alsumaria السومرية has 7.7K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Alsumaria السومرية's written reviews are positive against 67% of Simple Backup Contacts's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Alsumaria السومرية ships an update every 8 days, Simple Backup Contacts every 11 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
