# Fishing App vs Jacks

The clearest difference is rating: Jacks at 5.0 against Fishing App's 4.6. Jacks also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 85%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). Fishing App's advantage is ratings volume (6.2K vs 13) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fishing App sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Jacks sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jacks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fishing App has 6.2K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of Fishing App's written reviews are positive against 100% of Jacks's.

Fishing App ships an update every 5 days, Jacks every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
