# DP World Tour vs EGF

The clearest difference is rating: EGF at 4.0 against DP World Tour's 2.7. EGF also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). DP World Tour's advantage is ratings volume (108 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EGF holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DP World Tour has 108 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of DP World Tour's written reviews are positive against 0% of EGF's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DP World Tour ships an update fortnightly, EGF every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
