# Harz vs mopla

The clearest difference is rating: Harz at 5.0 against mopla's 2.3. mopla's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months) and review sentiment (58% vs 38%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Harz holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: mopla has 13 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Harz's written reviews are positive against 58% of mopla's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Harz ships an update every 7 months, mopla every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
