# Countdown+++ vs LibertyGuard

The clearest difference is price: LibertyGuard at Free against Countdown+++'s $0.99. LibertyGuard also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Countdown+++'s advantage is ratings volume (5.8K vs 1). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

LibertyGuard is free to download; Countdown+++ costs $0.99 up front. Countdown+++ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LibertyGuard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LibertyGuard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown+++ has 5.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Countdown+++ ships an update every 3 weeks, LibertyGuard weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
