# Tring vs Cryptogram

The clearest difference is rating: Tring at 4.8 against Cryptogram's 4.1. Tring also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Cryptogram's advantage is ratings volume (132 vs 6) and device support. On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tring sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Cryptogram sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tring holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cryptogram has 132 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
