# SAT Math vs PerfectPrep

The clearest difference is rating: PerfectPrep at 4.6 against SAT Math's 3.0. PerfectPrep also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (878 vs 1). SAT Math's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SAT Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PerfectPrep sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PerfectPrep holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PerfectPrep has 878 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SAT Math ships an update every 8 months, PerfectPrep fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
