# SAT Math vs Preptly

The clearest difference is rating: Preptly at 4.3 against SAT Math's 3.0. Preptly also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (247 vs 1). SAT Math's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SAT Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Preptly sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Preptly holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Preptly has 247 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SAT Math ships an update every 8 months, Preptly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
