# SAT Math vs SAT Prep & Test

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: SAT Prep & Test at 12.0 against SAT Math's 15.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SAT Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SAT Prep & Test sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
