# SnowJinks vs School Hero

The clearest difference is rating: SnowJinks at 3.8 against School Hero's 3.3. SnowJinks also leads on ratings volume (45 vs 4) and price ($0.99 vs $2.99). School Hero's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and review sentiment (100% vs 68%). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

SnowJinks costs $0.99 and School Hero $2.99 up front. SnowJinks sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. School Hero asks for nothing beyond the download.

SnowJinks holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SnowJinks has 45 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of SnowJinks's written reviews are positive against 100% of School Hero's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SnowJinks ships an update every 6 months, School Hero every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
