# SnowJinks vs Ace Maverick

The clearest difference is price: Ace Maverick at Free against SnowJinks's $0.99. Ace Maverick also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.8) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months). SnowJinks's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (68% vs 56%). On ratings volume, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Ace Maverick is free to download; SnowJinks costs $0.99 up front. SnowJinks sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Ace Maverick sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ace Maverick holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 45 and 42 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of SnowJinks's written reviews are positive against 56% of Ace Maverick's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SnowJinks ships an update every 6 months, Ace Maverick every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
