# tado° vs ChargerSync

The clearest difference is review sentiment: tado° at 43% against ChargerSync's 7%. tado° also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (778 vs 38). ChargerSync's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. tado° sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. ChargerSync asks for nothing beyond the download.

ChargerSync holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: tado° has 778 ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of tado°'s written reviews are positive against 7% of ChargerSync's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

tado° ships an update weekly, ChargerSync every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
