# CoveyIQ vs TargetOS

The clearest difference is update cadence: TargetOS at every 3 weeks against CoveyIQ's every 3 months. CoveyIQ's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CoveyIQ ships an update every 3 months, TargetOS every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
