# Dr. Carbide vs Seco Assistant

The clearest difference is rating: Seco Assistant at 4.6 against Dr. Carbide's 1.0. Seco Assistant also leads on ratings volume (167 vs 1). Dr. Carbide's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 50%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Seco Assistant holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Seco Assistant has 167 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Dr. Carbide's written reviews are positive against 50% of Seco Assistant's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
