# Fotoframe Pro vs DJI Ronin

The clearest difference is ads: DJI Ronin at none against Fotoframe Pro's shown. DJI Ronin also leads on review sentiment (30% vs 0%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Fotoframe Pro's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fotoframe Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DJI Ronin has 8.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Fotoframe Pro's written reviews are positive against 30% of DJI Ronin's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fotoframe Pro ships an update every 7 months, DJI Ronin every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
