# Al Mayadeen vs جهات

The clearest difference is review sentiment: جهات at 73% against Al Mayadeen's 39%. Al Mayadeen's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.8) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Al Mayadeen holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Al Mayadeen has 138 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Al Mayadeen's written reviews are positive against 73% of جهات's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Al Mayadeen ships an update every 5 weeks, جهات every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
