# CellGate Mobile Connect vs PreIntent

The clearest difference is rating: PreIntent at 4.0 against CellGate Mobile Connect's 1.9. CellGate Mobile Connect's advantage is ratings volume (447 vs 8) and review sentiment (10% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PreIntent holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CellGate Mobile Connect has 447 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of CellGate Mobile Connect's written reviews are positive against 0% of PreIntent's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CellGate Mobile Connect ships an update every 5 weeks, PreIntent every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
