# camFlashcards vs Study Split

The clearest difference is update cadence: Study Split at every 11 days against camFlashcards's every 5 months. camFlashcards's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. camFlashcards sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Study Split sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

camFlashcards ships an update every 5 months, Study Split every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
