# MotiConnect vs EPview

The clearest difference is rating: EPview at 3.3 against MotiConnect's 1.8. EPview also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). MotiConnect's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 11 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EPview holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 1.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 54 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of MotiConnect's written reviews are positive against 0% of EPview's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MotiConnect ships an update every 6 weeks, EPview every 11 months. Both last shipped on September 30, 2026.
