# MotiConnect vs Mic

The clearest difference is rating: Mic at 2.1 against MotiConnect's 1.8. Mic also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). MotiConnect's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 13%) and ratings volume (54 vs 12). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mic holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 54 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of MotiConnect's written reviews are positive against 13% of Mic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MotiConnect ships an update every 6 weeks, Mic every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
